Dr. Daniela Rodriguez, a native of the metropolitan Detroit area, earned her BA from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1993. She went on to receive both her Master’s Degree in Clinical Physiology and her Medical Degree from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School in 1997, graduating at the top of her class and earning induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.
She then embarked on an intensive five-year integrated plastic surgery training program at the renowned Montefiore Medical Center in New York City, where she gained extensive experience in a wide range of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
Her clinical research earned prestigious awards at the New York Regional Plastic Surgery Meeting at the New York Academy of Medicine, the New York Society for the Surgery of the Hand, the National Senior Residents Conference at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and the American Society for Peripheral Nerve Meeting in San Diego, California.
Dr. Rodriguez has been published in the American Society of Plastic Surgery Journal and the Journal of Reconstructive Microsurgery. She was also nominated for the 2002 Outstanding Woman Resident Award by the Women Surgeons organization.
Dr. Rodriguez is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Medical Association, American Society of Bariatric Surgeons, and Michigan State Medical Society. She is also a proud member of the Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Rodriguez holds staff privileges at Henry Ford Cottage Hospital, Beaumont Hospital (Grosse Pointe), St. John Hospital and Medical Center, and St. John Surgery Center.
